Dr Jasmin Wilson is a highly interdisciplinary postdoctoral scientist, focusing on nanomaterials in biomedicine for the past 7 years. She has experience across the full nanomaterial development pipeline from synthesis to pre-clinical application for both imaging and therapeutic agents. Prior to her current role at IIT, she worked for King's College London, based in St. Thomas' Hospital, working on the pre-clinical translation of multi-modal imaging agents. She holds a PhD in Pharmaceutical Science at King’s College London, as well as MSc and BSc (Hons) degrees in Biomedical Science. Prior to her PhD, she worked for over 2 years in the biotechnology industry. From her combined experiences, she brings a comprehensive understanding across different nanomaterial types and applications, as well as unconventional emerging medical modalities, such as microwave imaging.
